Fall Curbside Collection of Yard Waste - Saturday, 12/9/2023 & DPW Yard Waste Drop-off Extended Through 12/10/2023

Residents are reminded that the final fall curbside collection of yard waste, including grass clippings, leaves and small branches will take place on Saturday, December 9, 2023.

Waste must be curbside by 6:30am.

Please note the following;

• Leaves must be in paper bags only
• NO PLASTIC BAGS
• NO BARRELS
• Branches must be no greater than 3 inches in diameter and cut into lengths of no more than 3 feet
• Branches must be bundles and tied (not bagged)

**Due to the seasonally high use, the yard waste drop off at the DPW Facility will remain open for an additional two weekends, until Sunday, December 10, 2023.  North Reading residents can drop off yard waste at the DPW Facility (166 Chestnut Street) on Saturday from 8am to 4pm and Sunday from 12pm to 4pm.  There are two separate piles; one for grass clippings & leaves and the other for brush, please deposit yard waste in the appropriate pile.
