North Reading Fire Access Changes in Response to COVID-19

In keeping with the current best practices being adopted nationally to combat the spread of COVID-19, the North Reading Fire Department is restricting public access to the fire station until further notice.

What this means for you is that routine business which was conducted at our front desk is being shifted, as much as possible, to the phone or other means of communication.

If you are looking to contact the North Reading Fire Department for routine business or home sale smoke detector inspections (26Fs), we respectfully request you call our business line at 978-664-3112.

If you are looking for Fire Prevention or Deputy Galvin for Sprinkler/Fire Alarm Permits or Permit Inspections please call 978-664-6054.

If you arrive, in person, to the fire station with any sort of emergency, there is a yellow call box at the front door which will connect you directly to our dispatch.

As always we remain committed to providing the best Fire Protection and Emergency Medical Services for the residents of North Reading. Stay safe, stay healthy.
