Heat Advisory in Effect -- Weather Safety Tips and Reminders

The National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory for eastern Massachusetts including North Reading until 7:00 PM on Wednesday, June 30th.

Residents are reminded that hot/humid weather can present a threat to the health of children, the elderly, and those with underlying health issues. Residents are asked to check on any relatives, friends, or neighbors who may be vulnerable to the heat and/or humidity.

Residents who are experiencing a heat-related medical emergency should call 911.
