Friday Night Flashlight Candy Hunt (grades 6-8) $5.00
Friday, April 13th * Middle School 8:15 sign in. Hunt 8:30-9:30

Grab your flashlights and meet Parks and Rec at Ipswich River park for a candy hunt in the dark! Students are welcome to wear pajamas! (weather permitting). Meet at 8:15 at the Rec Center!

Field Day $5.00
Wednesday, April 18th * Middle School 2:00- 4:00 PM

This fun day of field events includes GPS and Challenger Soccer, North Shore Flag Football, Elite Freestyle Karate, Basketball, obstacle courses and more! Run by NR Parks and Rec

Spring Mentoring (mentees grades 3-8, mentors grades 9-12) FREE
This program is offered each Wednesday at the North Reading Middle/High School Library. Students in grades 3-8 are paired with a high school student for a 10-week session.
Middle School Session: 2:30p-3:45p
Elementary School Session: 3:45p-4:45p
This includes homework help and a social team-based activity. To register, contact Amy at 978.257.5281 or email youthservices@northreadingma.gov. This free program begins Wednesday, January 3, 2018

Middle School Youth Group (grades 6-8) FREE 
This group meets every Monday at North Reading Middle School Room 107 from 2:30pm-4:00pm during the school year. Students have time to work on homework, eat a snack, work on team challenges, social skills, and traditional games. To register, contact Amy at 978.257.5281 or email youthservices@northreadingma.gov. This free program has rolling drop-in, students do not have to attend every week. Program begins January 3, 2018.

EarlyAct Club (grades 3-5) $10/year
Our bi-monthly leadership and community service club represents all schools in North Reading. Based on a Rotary International model, the projects and meetings focus on the values of gratitude, community, leadership, commitment, and inclusion. Sponsored by North Reading Rotary, the club meets twice per month (4:00p-5:00p) to plan and implement a local or international humanitarian project. This low-cost program has ongoing enrollment beginning on Thursday, October 12, 2017 and welcomes rolling enrollment during the year.
