2020  FEDERAL  CENSUS

The Federal Census is conducted every 10-years and data collected is used as the basis for determining the number of Congressional seats allotted to each State for the next decade.

Following the 2010 Federal Census, the number of Congressional Districts in Massachusetts decreased from 10 to 9 due to a decrease in the overall State population.

In addition, Federal Census data is used to determine funding for many State programs which impact all Massachusetts communities.

Census data is CONFIDENTIAL and proteced by  Federal Law under Title 13 of the U.S. Code.

Respond NOW to ensure that Massachusetts representation in Congress will be protected and to ensure Massachusetts receives its share of Federal funding.
