AERIAL APPLICATION TO CONTROL MOSQUITO LARVAE

The East Middlesex Mosquito Control Project will be conducting a helicopter application of the biological larvicide, Bti (Bacillus thuringiensis var. israelensis), to control mosquito larvae on a date between April 21, 2022 and May 6, 2022. Wetlands currently being evaluated for this application in North Reading are located at or near Batchelder Ave., Chestnut St., Crestwood Rd., Elma Rd., Equestrian Dr., Lakeside Blvd., MacIntyre Dr., Main St./Winter St., Marblehead St., Park St., Salem St./Forest St., Shady Hill Dr./Anthony Rd., Swan Pond Rd., wetlands around Martin’s Pond and wetlands north and south of Rita Mullin Field.
