Why We Recycle:

By keeping paper, plastics, and metals out of the trash, it allows these items to be transformed into new products.  It also keeps them out of landfills or incinerated. This reduction in trash weight saves the town (and you) tax money.  

Each residential household is limited to two 50 gallon bags or barrels. The best way to fit your trash to these limits is to recycle everything you possibly can.

Massachusetts law also requires us to implement a recycling policy.
