Community Planning Commission Minutes 01/18/2005

Tuesday, January 18, 2005


Mr. Christopher Hayden, Chairman, called the Tuesday, January 18, 2005 meeting of the Community Planning Commission to order at 7:34 p.m. in Room 10 of the North Reading Town Hall, 235 North Street, North Reading, MA.

Minutes

Mrs. Romeo moved, seconded by Mr. Pearce and voted 4-0:  (Mr. Rooney absent)

that the Community Planning Commission vote to accept the minutes of January 4,  2005.

Mrs. Romeo moved, seconded by Mr. Spear and voted 4-0:  (Mr. Rooney absent)

that the Community Planning Commission vote to accept the Executive Session minutes of January 4, 2005.

Mr. Rooney arrived at 7:40PM

Zoning Board of Appeals

28 Oakdale Road – On the petition of Geraldine Haggett to appeal the decision of the Building Inspector regarding the issuance of a building permit.

The Community Planning Commission supports the Building Inspector’s decision.

286 Park Street – On the petition of Karen Ciccarelli for a special permit for a skin care and electrology business..

The Community Planning Commission supports the application.

4 Virginia Road – On the petition of Lori Potter for a special permit to stable horses.

The Community Planning Commission supports the application.

Ipswich River Watershed

Kerry Mackin gave a presentation on the Ipswich River.

1.      The Ipswich River in Context.
2.      The State of Land in the Ipswich River Watershed.
3.      The State of Flows, Wastewater Exports, and Water Use in the Ipswich River Watershed.
4.      The State of Water Quality in the Ipswich River.
5.      The State of Aquatic Life in the Ipswich River
6.      The State of Public Involvement in the Ipswich River Watershed.

271 Main Street – SPR – cont. P.H. 8:45PM

Mrs. Romeo moved, seconded by Mr. Pearce and voted 5-0:

that the Community Planning Commission vote to continue the Public Hearing for 271 Main Street until February 15, 2005 @ 9:00PM, at the applicant’s request.



ADJOURNMENT AT 9:55P.M.
