SPECIAL WASTE COLLECTION FOR PROPANE TANKS, TIRES, CAR BATTERIES, MERCURY THERMOMETERS/THERMOSTATS
Saturday, June 4, 2011: 9 a.m. – 12 noon
Richard Spindler DPW Complex – Chestnut Street
A small fee will be charged for the disposal of propane tanks and tires
Propane tanks: Camping size up to 19 lbs - $ 1.00 each
Regular 20 lbs - $ 3.00 each
Greater than 20 lbs - $ 20.00 each
Tires, cars - $ 3.00 each
Tires, truck (with or without rim) - $18.00 each
Car Batteries - No Charge
Fluorescent bulbs - No Charge
Mercury thermometers/thermostats - No Charge
Scrap metal - No Charge
The Compost Center will be closed for leaves and grass clippings on this day.

Please do not bring trash or household hazardous wastes to this event. Household Hazardous Waste is collected on a separate day, typically in September.
