URGENT MESSAGE TO RESIDENTS
As of Friday, July 9th, the Town continues to experience water shortage due to ongoing demand and a 60% reduction in the flow of drinking water supplied by the Town of Andover over the past 2 days.
North Reading may face a critical shortage of water for drinking and fire protection, unless steps are taken by residents to curtail water usage. ALL LAWN IRRIGATION SYSTEMS MUST BE TURNED OFF IMMEDIATELY to allow the supply in the Town's water tanks an opportunity to recover.
Any Violations of the Water Ban should be reported to the Police Department by calling 664-3131 ext. 0.
