The Board of Selectmen voted to to adopt a new Water rates after conducting a public hearing on December 19, 2006.
The new rates provide for full funding of 2007 water department operations, and include:
1. Adoption of a new Seasonal water rate, effective from May to November. The Seasonal rate (Tier 3) is $11.38 per 1,000 gallons.
2. Increasing the System Development charge for new connections to $2,000.
There are no changes to the Tier 1 and Tier 2 water rates for 2007.
