Watering Restrictions Eased

	The Town of North Reading has eased the outdoor water use restrictions effective August 31, 2010. Outdoor watering is now allowed on an odd/even alternating schedule Under this schedule, residents and businesses on the odd numbered side of the street are allowed to water outdoors on odd numbered days, and residents and businesses on the even numbered side of the street are allowed to water outdoors on even numbered days.

Compliance with this watering schedule will help to minimize the need for more restrictive emergency measures such as those implemented this summer.

The Department of Public Works would like to thank the citizenry of North Reading for their assistance in adhering to the outdoor water ban this summer.
