The North Reading Department of Public Works and North Reading Commission on Disabilities remind business owners of the Town bylaw requiring said owners to be responsible for snow removal on sidewalks abutting their business. The bylaw also prohibits blocking sidewalk access at driveway entrances with snow or ice.
Homeowners are also asked to clear snow from the sidewalks in front of their homes to allow for safe pedestrian access during the winter months.
