TOWN OF NORTH READING CODE NOW ON-LINE
The Code of the Town of North Reading is now available “on-line”.
This new version of the Code will provide town officials, departments and the pubIic with immediate access to the complete and current Code through an internet connection, providing a functional resource for those who use it.
Included in the Code are the Town Charter, General By-laws, Zoning By-laws, Special Acts and Mass General Laws accepted by the Town, with multi-viewing options -- offering search capabilities, easy navigation and interactive links within the Code, and the ability to directly e-mail specific sections or links to complete chapters of the Code. Also available is the ability to search a “Library” of Codes from other communities.
The on-screen viewing options include a “Quick View” and “Advanced View” for a desktop or laptop interface, and will also automatically provide a “Touch View” when accessed through a tablet or mobile device. [Please note that the "Touch View" will only appear on a device that has a touch screen interface.]
This on-line version of the Code includes an informative “HELP” module to assist the user with the various views, navigation and functions available.
