What is it?
Friends of the North Reading Council on Aging, Inc. is a new non-profit organization formed to support and enhance the good works of the Edith A. O'Leary Senior Center (located on the first floor of the Third Meeting House).
Why form the Friends?
Our primary purpose is to seek funding through membership dues, donations, fundraising events, grant writing, corporate gifts, gifts or bequests in kind of goods and services. These additional monies will greatly enhance life at the Senior Center.
How can you help?
Whether you are a "senior" or not, we welcome you to join us. Together we bring new energy, enthusiasm and commitment to support plans for the present and the future. Today's seniors are active, engaged in life and eager for quality programs and an array of services from their Senior Center. The Friends plan to meet many needs and challenges and have fun doing it!
