INTRODUCTION
North Reading is one of over 100 cities and towns in Massachusetts that has recognized the value of its historic resources and has designated 9 buildings in the old center of North Reading as the Center Village Historic District.
The Town Selectmen appoint the members of the Historic District Commission which oversees the Center Village Historic District.
The Commission must approve any exterior alterations using the following Guildelines:
